If you live in the West of England and aren’t in work, education or training right now, access free support to help you take your next step!

Whether you need help finding a job, starting training, or going back into education you can access careers advice, confidence building, travel support, and hands-on work experience.

The Youth Guarantee Trailblazer project is here to make sure no young person gets left behind.

Future Ready Project
Future Ready is for young adults aged 18 to 21 in Bath and North East Somerset and aims to create clear pathways into employment, education, training, volunteering and work experience. Through tailored support and real work opportunities, the programme is designed to help you build the skills and experience for future work you truly care about. Email Kim Odell to get started
Make it Happen!
Get 1-to-1 support, interview prep, and work tasters to find out what you’re interested in, then build confidence through sports, arts, and community activities. We’ll help you get into sector-specific training with real work experience, job-search support and mentoring, or get help starting your own business with funding, training, and ongoing guidance. North Somerset Care Leavers
If you're care-experienced in North Somerset, the Youth Guarantee trailblazer will match you with real work placements through your own employer officer, plus 1-to-1 coaching to build your confidence and employability skills, moving you towards a job, course, or training that’s right for you. United Bristol
United Bristol is a sport-led employability programme supporting 16-21-year-olds develop skills and progress into education, employment or training. Delivered across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, you’ll receive tailored support lasting between 3-12 months. Support includes mentoring, sport-based activities, employability and life skills workshops, accredited qualifications, workplace visits, volunteering, work experience, and guidance with applications. Wellbeing Works
For those aged 16-21, Wellbeing Works offers up to 12 months of personalised 1-to-1 coaching that fits around you, plus free counselling, food-based learning with The Mazi Project, and hands-on farm activities at St Werburgh's City Farm. South Gloucestershire
Through the Youth Guarantee you can get up to 4 weeks of 1-to-1 careers coaching, an 8-week paid work placement with your own job coach, mental health support and help with travel costs, plus support that continues after your placement ends. South Bristol
Free careers and job support if you're 17–21 and live in South Bristol. Get 1-to-1 coaching to plan your future, employability training to build your skills and confidence, and the chance to try out a job or volunteering through work tasters - all on a clear, simple path into work or training. Bath and North-East Somerset
If transport is stopping you from getting to work, training or interviews, the Youth Guarantee will help remove those barriers via free bus passes, e-bike loans, or community minibuses. We’ll also connect you to paid placements with local employers ready to hire and provide 1-to-1 coaching to figure out your next steps. Apply for support in Bath and North East Somerset
