ACH – Bridge to Employment

Bridge to Employment Programme – in partnership with IKEA and Pret A Manger

ACH is excited to launch another round of its Bridge to Employment programme, a collaborative initiative with IKEA and Pret-A-Manger. This programme offers a opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the hospitality and retail sectors.

Successful applicants will first complete a one-week, ACH-led training programme, where they will gain a NOCN Entry Level 3 qualification in Employability and Personal Development. The training focuses on sector-specific skills in hospitality, as well as essential knowledge around employability and employment rights.

Training course details:
Date: 8th-12th September 2025
Time: 9:30am – 3:30pm
Location: ACH Training Centre 27-31 Church Rd, Bristol BS5 9JJ (entrance through Jane St.)

Following the training, participants will begin a 12-week paid work placement at either IKEA or a Pret A Manger location. Upon completion of the placement, candidates will have the chance for a guaranteed interview for a permanent role.

• Must have the right to work in the UK
• Be from a refugee or migrant background
• Have ESOL proficiency at Entry Level 2 or above

• Cost: Free
• Eligibility: Refugee / Asylum seeker &/or Right to live and work in UK/ lived in UK 3 years
• Ages: All Ages
