What this programme offers
This free 6-month training programme helps adults who want to work in the green sector gain practical skills and experience in woodland creation, tree care and land management. Workshops take place on Wednesdays across Bristol, Bath and other sites in North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. Many of these sites are woodlands, with some sessions delivered online.
Who this programme is for
This programme is suited to adults living in the West of England who want to work in the green sector and are not yet in a paid green sector role. It is aimed mainly at people aged 18–25, with some places for older adults, and may be particularly relevant if you are unemployed, returning to work after a career break or looking to retrain.
