Bath College – Civil Service SWAP

Civil Service SWAP is a course for adults aged 19+ who want to start a career in the Civil Service. You do not need any previous experience or qualifications to take part. If you are unemployed or earn under £25,000 per year, the course is free.

It runs from 10 November to 25 November 2026, Monday to Friday, from 9:30am to 2:30pm.

You will develop practical skills to prepare for Civil Service roles, gain knowledge of the Civil Service application process and build confidence for professional roles. You will also have the opportunity to earn a Level 1 Customer Service qualification.

What happens next

After completing the course, you could apply for Civil Service roles or progress to a Level 2 Customer Service qualification.
