Bath Spa University – Marketing and Entrepreneurship

This free eight-week course is for partners of serving UK military personnel aged 18 and over.

Delivered by Bath Spa University, the course covers the fundamentals of digital marketing and entrepreneurship. You’ll explore how to develop ideas, build a brand and create a business plan while gaining practical skills in a supportive learning environment.

What you’ll learn

• Freelancer 101
• Digital marketing fundamentals
• Social media fundamentals
• AI awareness
• Creative strategy
• Design thinking for entrepreneurs
• Brand discovery
• Employment, freelance and business pathways

No previous knowledge or experience is required.

What you’ll do

You’ll take part in practical workshops, apply your learning to your own ideas and build a portfolio of work. You’ll also have opportunities to build confidence, connect with other learners and share experiences.

Workshop times: Tuesdays, 10am–2pm

The programme also includes four online drop-in sessions on Wednesdays from 11am–12pm.
