Bristol Community Learning – Essential Digital Skills

This free digital skills course is for beginners and for anyone who wants to refresh or improve their digital skills.

The course takes place on Thursdays from 5 November 2026 to 10 December 2026 and is open to learners aged 19+ with few or no qualifications.

What you’ll learn

You will learn how to:

• connect a laptop to Wi‑Fi
• search the internet and identify useful websites
• create, edit, format and save documents
• organise files and folders
• send and receive emails with attachments
• complete online forms
• create strong passwords
• recognise scams and stay safe online

What happens next

You will have the opportunity to develop your digital skills through practical activities and learning.
