What this course offers

This friendly and supportive ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) class will help you develop your English language skills and digital confidence. It will support you to progress along your ESOL learning journey and work towards your future goals and aspirations.

The course is open to learners working at Entry Level 2 and above, aged 19+ (in August 2026), with few or no qualifications. It takes place on Tuesdays.

What you’ll learn

You will learn how to:

  • improve your English speaking and listening skills for everyday situations and communication
  • develop reading and writing skills to support learning, work and daily life
  • build confidence using digital devices and online tools for communication and learning
  • use English and digital skills more independently to achieve personal, educational or employment goals
  • identify next steps in your ESOL learning journey and set goals for future progression

What happens next

By the end of the course, you will have developed your English language skills and digital confidence. You will be able to use these skills more independently and identify next steps for your future learning.
