Bristol Community Learning – Festive Crafts on a Budget

This practical course will help you plan and budget for the festive season while creating gifts from scratch and developing budgeting and IT skills.

The course takes place on Fridays from 6 November 2026 to 11 December 2026 and is open to learners aged 19+ with few or no qualifications.

What you’ll learn

You will learn how to:

• create a realistic budget and identify where savings can be made
• locate at least three discount apps and demonstrate how to use them safely
• follow instructions accurately and safely to create gifts from scratch
• research different providers and compare utility costs
• use a range of recyclable materials to create gifts from scratch
• describe three ways you will set and meet a personal goal

What happens next

You will have the opportunity to apply your budgeting, IT and craft skills through practical activities and projects.
