What this service offers

Bristol Digital Drive redistributes donated digital devices to help people who need access to technology.  The service aims to increase digital inclusion by providing refurbished equipment.  You can also donate unwanted old tech.

How this can help you

You may be able to access:

  • refurbished laptops
  • desktop computers
  • tablets
  • mobile phones

Bristol Digital Drive accepts laptops, computers, tablets, mobile phones and chargers.  If the device is damaged, they can determine if it can be repaired, refurbished, or responsibly recycled.

Next steps

Visit the provider’s website to find out how devices are distributed and whether you are eligible.

As an individual you will need to get a referral from an organisation that knows you, and they can complete the form on your behalf.

Bristol Digital Drive can only accept applications from organisations such as charities, schools, local councils, statutory bodies or registered voluntary groups. Referring organisations must have attended a Referral Partner Onboarding session before a device can be issued.
