Level 2 Courses

Domestic Electrical Installations EAL Diploma

Start a career in the electrical sector or build on your existing skills with this one-year course. Designed for learners who want to work in the field or are already employed within it, the course develops the skills needed for employment and career progression in the electrical industry.

You’ll cover environment awareness, electrical and electronic testing methods, systems and devices, electrical installation, wiring and circuit protection, basic electrical circuits, inspection and testing, and fault diagnosis.

Through practical, hands-on learning in our dedicated construction department, you’ll work with industry-standard materials and equipment used on real construction sites.

Level 3 Courses

Access to Engineering

Are you keen to pursue a career in engineering? Our Access to Engineering pathway is a stepping stone for individuals who aspire to apply to university for engineering-based degree courses and pursue career paths in fields such as mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering and chemical engineering.

The course runs for one year from September and is delivered through blended learning, with two days in college and one day online.

This course is for mature students aged 19+ who are seeking to return to education, explore a career change or pursue a new professional path.

Access to Science

The course runs for one year from September and is delivered through blended learning, with two days in college and one day online.

This course is for mature students aged 19+ who are seeking to return to education, explore a career change or pursue a new professional path.

You’ll study Biology, Chemistry and Physics, with 45 credits graded at pass, merit or distinction. You’ll also complete 15 credits in study skills to develop essential academic skills and complete assignments throughout the academic year.
