What Can You Study?
Access Art & Design
A one-year Access to Higher Education course (full-time or part-time) designed to help adults develop skills in drawing, sculpture, textiles, printmaking, photography, and more. It builds confidence and prepares students for university or creative careers.
Foundation and Diploma Courses
Part-time and evening creative subjects such as:
- Ceramics
- Classical Drawing
- Jewellery, textile design
These courses suit adult learners and those starting out or returning to creative study.
Higher Education Degrees
Delivered through University Centre SGS and awarded by the University of Gloucestershire:
- BA (Hons) Fine Art and Material Practice – studio-based degree exploring painting, 3D, print, and digital media.
- BA (Hons) Fine Art and Contemporary Arts Practice (Top-up) – for those with a foundation or HND to achieve a full honours degree.
- BA (Hons) Art History – a course that traces art from classical times to contemporary global culture, including non Western and challenging perspectives.
