Level 1 Courses – Introductory Knowledge and Skills
Introduction to Photo Editing with Adobe Photoshop
This 10-week course is for adults who want to develop practical photo editing skills using Adobe Photoshop. You’ll learn how to enhance, edit and create high-quality images while building your technical skills and creative confidence, whether you’re new to Photoshop or looking to develop your existing skills for personal or professional use.

Stained Glass
This course is for adults who want to gain a qualification in stained glass. Beginners will learn how to make a leaded stained-glass panel, while continuing learners will develop their design and craft skills. You’ll research and plan a design, produce a finished glass panel, and record your progress through a sketchbook, journal and worksheets.

Research to Practice in Contemporary Stained Glass
This course is for adults who are new to stained glass or want to develop their creative practice. You’ll learn traditional stained glass techniques while exploring your own ideas through research, experimentation and creative design in a studio environment.

Ceramics
This UAL Level 1 Ceramics course is for adults who want to learn ceramic techniques and creative processes. Suitable for beginners, you’ll learn how to shape, build and develop your own ceramic pieces, from initial ideas through to finished work, in a studio environment with guidance from ceramic artist Gina Baum.

Ceramics with Vicky
This UAL Level 1 Award in Ceramics with Vicky is an introductory course for adults who want to explore working with clay. The course is taught by Vicky Hendzel, who has over 30 years of experience in ceramics.

Stained Glass
This course will help you gain a recognised qualification and develop design and craft skills using stained or fused glass techniques.
