What this course offers

If you enjoy being creative or want to explore art in a supportive setting, this free one‑week art programme could be right for you. It’s designed for young people aged 16–30 who are currently not in work, education or training, and helps you develop your artistic skills while meeting other young people with similar interests.

There is a taster day on 2 July, giving you the chance to find out more about the programme and decide if it’s right for you.

What you’ll learn

During the programme, you will:

  • Explore a range of art materials and techniques
  • Develop your artistic skills and creative confidence
  • Explore how art can support your wellbeing
  • Meet and work alongside other young creatives

What happens next

After the programme, you may be able to access up to six one‑to‑one sessions with The King’s Trust to help you explore your next steps, such as further training, work, or creative opportunities.

  • Eligibility: Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET)
