What this course offers

This is a short, in‑person course for young people aged 16–30 who are not in work, education or training. It takes place outdoors and gives you a chance to try something new and learn more about working with nature.

What you’ll learn

You’ll learn about:

  • wildlife and conservation
  • the types of jobs and roles available in nature and conservation
  • how working outdoors can support your wellbeing

What you’ll do

  • spend time outdoors in a natural setting
  • take part in practical activities
  • learn as part of a small group
  • learn from industry experts

What happens next

This course can help you decide whether work in nature or conservation is something you’d like to explore further, and support your next steps. After the course, you can receive up to six one‑to‑one support sessions.
