What this course offers
This free three-week programme for adults aged 19–25 is delivered in partnership with Avon Fire & Rescue Service. It is designed to help you build confidence, learn new skills and prepare for your next steps into college, training or employment.
Through practical activities and workshops, you will develop teamwork, communication, resilience and employability skills while challenging yourself and trying new experiences.

What you’ll do
- Take part in fire station visits and activities with Avon Fire & Rescue Service

- Develop cooking and independent living skills
- Practise CV writing and interview techniques
- Join outdoor activities that encourage you to step outside your comfort zone
What happens next
You will build confidence, improve your communication and teamwork skills, and gain practical life skills. The programme can help strengthen your CV and prepare you for college, apprenticeships or employment, while giving you the opportunity to meet new people and develop skills for the future.
