What this programme offers
The King’s Trust Team Programme delivered by Weston College is a 13-week full-time programme for young people aged 16 to 25 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).
It is a personal development programme that helps you build confidence, develop practical and employability skills, and prepare for your next step through team activities, a community project, work experience and a residential experience.

What you’ll do
- Get to know other learners through team-building activities
- Develop confidence, communication, resilience and teamwork skills
- Explore your strengths and interests
- Develop leadership and problem-solving skills
- Work with others to plan and complete a community project
- Prepare for and undertake work experience
- Gain an insight into the workplace and develop skills such as punctuality, communication, responsibility and professional behaviour
- Take part in a residential experience with activities that encourage independence, teamwork and resilience
- Develop your CV and interview skills
- Explore future opportunities including college, apprenticeships and employment
- Work towards an Entry 3 or Level 1 Award in Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills
What happens next
By the end of the programme, you will have increased your confidence, developed personal and employability skills, gained practical experience and created a plan for your future.
