What you will learn

  • How to manage your time at work and organise tasks so you can meet deadlines
  • How to create business documents such as emails, reports and presentations
  • How IT is used in an office, including common software and workplace systems
  • Customer service and communication skills, including how to speak to clients and handle problems professionally
  • Basic sales skills, such as explaining products and services clearly

Career guidance and support

Alongside learning these skills, you will get support with job searching and interview preparation. You will also learn about different office job roles and employers to help you plan your next steps.

Entry requirements

  • Level 1 English reading and writing
  • Learners must have turned 19 years old on or before 31 August 2024
  • Access to a computer or laptop (phones and tablets are not suitable)
