What this course offers
This free course is for adults aged 19+ who would like to work in the warehousing, transport and logistics industry, including as a forklift driver, LGV driver, storeperson or warehouse operative.
The course is delivered through a mixture of virtual and face-to-face learning. Learners will complete online learning before attending the training centre for practical training.
The course provides an opportunity to explore careers in the sector and build the knowledge and skills needed to take the next step towards employment.

What happens next
Following successful completion of the course, you will be offered a forklift assessment. If successful, you will have the opportunity to complete a forklift course and gain a forklift qualification.
Typical warehousing jobs in the South West pay between £12 and £16.50 per hour, with some forklift roles paying up to £32,000 per year.
