Connecting people working in employment support across the West of England
What is the Skills Connect Network?
Skills Connect Network (formerly the Ways2Work network run by Bristol City Council) is a network that connects people working in employment support with information and resources which will help them deliver support to the (Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset). The network is run as part of the Skills Connect project, coordinated by the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority.
The network comprises of:
- Weekly email updates, sharing information on support, courses & training, events and opportunities which may be of interest to the participants you are working with.
- Quarterly networking events – focused on information sharing and current hot topics.
The focus of the network is to spread news and information about courses, training, and support that you offer, to help residents to move into, closer to, or progress in employment.

Join our network
You’re welcome to join the network if you offer employment support to residents of the West of England (Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset). We also welcome those offering support, training, upskilling and employment opportunities to join and share their opportunities.
