Regenerative Design: How Our Approach to Design Can Transform Our Impact on the Planet

‘Sustainable design’ asks; How we can design while aiming to do no harm? Unfortunately, when we don’t reach that aim, we end up doing harm. ‘Regenerative design’ asks a different question; How can we design in a way that increases biodiversity, reduces carbon and leads to flourishing communities? In short, how can we design so that people (and the ecosystems that support them) thrive.

Digital Skills Hub – Twerton Learning Centre

The Digital Skills Hub is a free, friendly drop-in session held every second Tuesday at Twerton Learning Centre, run by Bath College in partnership with Skills Connect. It’s designed for anyone who wants to improve their digital confidence—whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to sharpen your tech skills for work or everyday life. Support is available for tasks like using email, navigating the internet, accessing online services, and applying for jobs. No booking is needed—just turn up and get practical help tailored to your needs.

Connect to Work (CtW): Working Together Across the West of England – Information Session

Join us for an online introduction to the Connect to Work (CtW) programme, hosted by the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority, and find out how your organisation can directly support people into sustainable employment across the region.

Connect to Work is a DWP-funded programme supporting residents across Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire. It offers tailored, one-to-one support for individuals who are out of work or at risk of losing work, particularly those facing health conditions, disabilities, or other complex barriers to employment.

This session will give you a clear overview of the programme, including eligibility, referral pathways, and how you can connect your service users into support quickly and effectively. You will also hear about working alongside delivery partners including The BUSY Group (working with Brandon Trust, Ashley Community Housing, and Better Pathways) and North Bristol NHS Trust.

This is a practical opportunity to strengthen referral routes, build local partnerships, and ensure the people you support can access the right help at the right time.

We welcome VCSE organisations, housing providers, and wider community projects.
