M/Others – Creative Sessions for Parents and Carers
M/Others is a weekly session for parents and carers of very young children. This includes mums, dads, grandparents, and anyone helping to raise a child.
Your children are cared for in a nearby room, so you can relax and enjoy some creative time for yourself in a friendly, supportive space.
All materials are provided, so you can try new things and be as creative as you like. It’s a great way to keep your hands busy, clear your mind, and meet others. You can also learn new skills that could lead to further study or even a new job.
What to expect:
- Guided sessions with flexible drop-in support
- A focus on emotional wellbeing, with regular check-ins
- A chance to build confidence and meet other parents and carers
- Opportunities to develop creative skills for future study or work
- A range of activities, such as creative writing, stained glass, painting, printmaking, textiles, and gardening (activities change each term)
When: Wednesdays during term time
