What this programme offers
Make It Happen! provides one-to-one coaching and mentoring throughout the programme to support you on your journey.
It can help you build confidence, meet new people, develop skills for work, gain work experience with local employers and get support to find work.
Delivered by Creative Youth Network, Ablaze and The King’s Trust.
Training and support available
You can try courses in music, cooking, art, health and beauty and more to build confidence, meet new people and explore your interests.
You can also join short courses and programmes to improve your employability skills, including training in social care, learning support and hospitality. These courses typically last one to two weeks.
You can get help to start your own business. If you’re interested in self-employment, support is available to help you develop your ideas, write a business plan, find training, look for funding and receive advice from a mentor.
How you’ll be supported
You will be supported by your own career coach for between three and twelve months. They can help you:
- Build your confidence
- Learn skills for work
