When you study at the University of Bath, you will join a vibrant learning community made up of members of the public, University staff and students. All courses offered to members of the public are also available to students and staff, so your class will include an interesting and diverse mix of learners.
These courses are designed to increase your cultural awareness and communication skills, and build your confidence to travel, work or live abroad, opening doors worldwide.
Arabic classes available
The University of Bath offers Arabic classes in Modern Standard Arabic, with references to differences between Arab dialects.
Arabic classes are available from Stage 1.1 for complete beginners to Stage 2.2, which is equivalent to CEFR level A2.2.
If you are just getting started, you can also join Introduction to Arabic Script classes free of charge.
Whatever level you are studying at, you can also take part in optional exam preparation workshops held in the spring. These workshops are free to join and can help you prepare for a qualification that recognises your language skills.
