What this programme offers
United Bristol is a sport-led employability programme supporting 16-21-year-olds develop skills and progress into education, employment or training.
Delivered by Bristol City Robin’s Foundation, Bristol Bears Foundation and Empire Fighting Chance, across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, you’ll receive personalised support with your own coach, lasting between 3-12 months.
Training and support available
Support includes one-to-one mentoring, sport-based activities, employability and life skills workshops, accredited qualifications, workplace visits, volunteering, work experience, and guidance with job applications and career progression planning.
How you’ll be supported
You’ll receive personalised support with your own coach through a tailored programme, typically lasting between 3-12 months, which will help you progress into employment, education, training or apprenticeships, with ongoing mentoring to help sustain positive outcomes.

By completing the programme, you’ll gain confidence, resilience, recognised qualifications and transferable skills, while strengthening your links with employers and training providers.
