What this programme offers

Wellbeing works offers up to 12 months of personalised one-to-one coaching and support to help you progress towards education, employment or training.

You’ll be supported to build your confidence, wellbeing, resilience and essential employability skills at your own pace, while exploring opportunities that match your interests, strengths and goals.

Training and support available

  • One-to-one coaching: Tailored support from dedicated EET & Wellbeing Coaches, helping you identify your goals and take steps towards them.
  • Employability and essential skills: Practical programmes delivered by specialist partners to help you develop skills for work and everyday life.
  • Food-based learning: The Mazi Project offers hands-on learning through food and nutrition, helping you build confidence, health and wellness and practical skills.
  • Hands-on activities: St Werburgh’s City Farm offers 12-week programmes including horticulture, animal care, woodwork, nature crafts and cooking.
  • Counselling: Access to one-to-one outreach counselling and therapeutic support from mental health charity Maybe Southwest.
  • Social connection: Opportunities to meet others, get involved in your community and build your sense of belonging.

How you’ll be supported

Support is flexible and personalised to you. Your very own coach will work with you to understand your strengths, interests and goals to help you into a job, training or education.

Sessions with your coach can take place in locations where you feel comfortable and safe, including community venues, youth centres and local cafes.

What happens next

Once you’ve contacted the Wellbeing Works team, you’ll meet with your coach to talk about what you want to achieve and what support would be most useful for you to help you take your next step.
