Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and fast-track to an interview with an employer.

SGS and Business West Skills Conference

This year our annual Skills Conference will provide a forum for regional stakeholders to input in SGS College’s strategic developments, gain practical advice on how to grow your business, plus hear an update from Business West on the next steps for their Local Skills Improvement Plans.

With the Government’s Get Britain Working white paper, the introduction of the Growth & Skills Levy, plus regional Councils and the West of England Mayoral Authority all developing their economic growth plans, the conference will allow for broader conversation on how we collectively achieve our goals, and the key part skills play in supporting this.
